Rose S. Bauer received her education at the University of Southern California film school. Ms. Bauer has worked in the film and television business for over fifteen years in areas of casting, art directing, editing, unit production managing, line producing as well as writing, producing and directing. Ms. Bauer has produced and directed a series of music videos for the New Zealand singer and songwriter Helen Henderson. She also has a short comedy entitled The Song that is currently moving through the independent film festival circuit. Ms. Bauer also produced a Volkswagen commercial in 2002 and is preparing to produce a comedy in the spring of 2008 entitled Kaplan’s Dream with film director Bruce Ornstein. Filming will take place in Florida and New Mexico. Ms. Bauer recently won several awards for two of her films at the Northwest Alabama Film Festival in 2003. Dismayed and uninspired at the corporate aspects of the film industry, Rose Bauer formed Rosetta Stone Pictures in 1994, thus beginning her independent journey seeking to do film projects that convey a higher message. Ms. Bauer is currently in development on her first feature length film entitled A Sense of Peace which will be filmed in Louisiana, Alabama and Tennessee. The film is expecting a 2008 release date. Ms. Bauer is serving as producer and will also direct A Sense of Peace. In addition to writing and directing, Ms. Bauer is the founder of Rosetta Stone Music. The label's first artist, Helen Henderson, will release SOUTH: Muscle Shoals Revisited in 2007. A long time art and antique enthusiast, Ms. Bauer opened her first art gallery in 1994 in Los Angeles.
